Rock Art Education
Alan Barbick is available for speaking to your group, organ-
ization, school, or library on his rock art research. Generally,
within an hours time, Alan will introduce you to the who, what,
where, when, how and why. Then several brief descriptions through his
own research will be given with one larger panel telling a story. During this
time, his equipment will be on display and how he uses it explained.
At the end of the program children (and adults too!) will be allowed to create
their very own rubbing or lifting from some of Alan's work. It makes for an
exciting hands-on experience. And remember the only rubbings allowed are
the ones permissable by the artist. "Take only photographs and leave only
foot prints".-site ethics
